Bart Bartholomew was raised in Colorado. After serving in the United States Army he attended Metropolitan State College.He also is a licensed PADI Scuba Instructor and maintains an inactive Real Estate Broker License.Mr. Bartholomew has been a mortgage loan originator since 1996. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association and as President of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers. He has also served on the Delegate Council of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. He has chaired the Denver-Boulder Better Business Bureau Truth in Advertising Advisory Board and was a member of the Division of Real Estate Mortgage Broker Rule Making Task Force and one of the Colorado representives for the development of NMLS and Colorado testing for Mortgage Loan Originators. He has been appointed by the Governor of Colorado and served on the Board of Directors for the Mortgage Loan Originators of the Division of Real Estate overseeing the Mortgage Loan Originators of Colorado. From 2010 - 2014 He has served as a test consultant for NMLS since 2008 for the development of the 20 hour MLS class testing as well as an instructor for the mandatory annual 8 hour training for MLOs for MTI Through out the years he has helped develop, teach and put forth the highest standards of excellence in the mortgage industry with the education of mortgage loan originators through the NMLS education training and Colorado continuing education for the protection and confidence of the citizens of Colorado.
