Leader of a Global Business Unit responsible for growth, business operations and profitability for a $2.5 billion portfolio of global specialty plastics businesses for Dow. Directly supervised commercial leaders in Europe, Asia, India, Latin America, and North America.This role continued to increase in scope over the 7+ years as business units were added and revenue expanded by 2.5X.

This role was accountable for North American P&L and day-to-day business management as well as partnering with R&D to drive growth and innovation projects for the world leader in polyolefin elastomers and EPDM polymers. It included direct leadership of a cross-functional North American Business Leadership Team.

This was a new role created to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Starting with a blank slate, I developed and implemented a comprehensive customer satisfaction process that included Customer Classification, Business Service Standards by segment, Customer Loyalty & Retention benchmarks, and Quality Performance metrics and tracking.
