I am an experienced education researcher, evaluator and consultant, with a particular interest in continuing professional development and learning, school development, literacy, and arts education and learning. I am tasked with research and information support, meaning tracking down information and sources of evidence, coding and entering data in a variety of database formats, supporting the maintenance of databases, supporting questionnaire design and management (specifically through Survey Galaxy), collating and co-ordinating comments on research reports and other documents, and carrying out both telephone interviews and field visits to gather information.I also support communication through preparing web and/or print ready test in a range of formats for different audiences, supporting the preparation of distance learning and training materials, preparing publicity and training materials, organising events and meetings (including focus groups), general correspondence, and responding appropriately to clients and the team, in accordance with timeframes set by the activity.In addition to the above (and the usual general administrative responsibilities), I co-ordinate projects within CUREE, involving participating in the planning process, co-ordinating the CUREE team and other resources, monitoring projects, assessing progress in meeting project milestones, expediting actions, and reporting on progress to CUREE's senior leadership team and clients. Projects I have co-ordinated so far include the Closing the Gap: Test and Learn programme, a major national drive to conduct a series of randomised controlled trials into the effectiveness of seven education interventions in closing the attainment gap. This has involved co-ordinating the consultation and selection process of the interventions themselves, as well as contributing to the design and execution of four major national launch events, training, and co-ordinating CUREE's work with partners such as Durham University, Oxford University, and CfBT.

My role consisted of establishing new leads, contacting potential new customers by telephone and email, gauging their interest and possible need for BI software products (such as IBM Cognos TM1, Cognos Express, and Connexica CXAIR), and convincing them of the value of meeting a dedicated sales manager to discuss purchase details.

Worked on the Settings, Security and Payments team on behalf of PayPal, taking customer queries regarding passwords, account access, payment details, and general queries regarding PayPal's services.
