The general topic of my qualitative research is public-private partnerships. The municipality of Amsterdam has established a foundation in 2006 in order to fight troublemaking youth groups on the streets. The people who are dealing with these youth groups are called ‘streetcoaches’, hired from a private security company. I focussed on the exchange of information between these streetcoaches and public partners, like the police and the city district.

CrisisPlan helps organisations and companies to prepare for a wide variety of disruptions, by testing and training them. They make use of training courses, table tops, interactive simulations, assessments, educational films, thematic seminars & workshops and process advisory. During my internship, I was working on several assignments and partly responsible for an interactive simulation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
