• Creates inspection test plans for large multimillion dollar manufacturing projects. Knowledgeably outlines the processes and inspection points relating to the project, to identify risks and critical inspection points in the manufacturing process of various components. Defines the procedures to be used and the acceptance criteria identified in the test plan. Interacts with the customer to approve the plan and communicates with suppliers in validating the processes. Creates a nonconformance and an action plan if a defect is found and presents report to the customer for review. • Reviews nonconformities, verifying the reports are comprehensive and complete. Implements CIRCOR’s Operational System which requires a ten-step process with a skill set in root cause analysis and corrective action. Utilizes multiple tools such as: fishbone diagrams, 5 why, cause & effect, 8D, etc. Facilitator of Kaizen Events where these tools are applied to pinpoint the root cause. Initiates the revision of procedures outlining the corrective action.• Implements incoming inspections for R&D 1st Article parts and 1st Article production parts. Effectively operates the Faro Arm, a CMM, to maintain tight tolerances and validate the component’s various measurements. Certifying the component’s composition using positive material analyzer and hardness tester.• Performs ISO 9001:2015 audits for accreditation.
