In a research environment, I provide measuring services and competences to customers both internally and externally. Key competences include:• On-wafer electrical characterization of (CMUT) technology using wafer probers• Acoustic characterization of CMUT technology using hydrophones• Performing consistent and high quality measurements• Transparant and highly detailed logging of each measurement activity• Automation of measurements for consistency and improved throughput, without sacrificing quality• Offering data processing services with high flexibility in data formattingAll activities are customer-focused with the goal of providing high quality measurement results, while remaining critical of its quality by balancing confidence in the way a measurement was performed with the validity of its results.

As part of a multi-cultural team, I took part in the process of testing and verifying a medical consumer product. Key elements that I took ownership for in this process included:• Developing and documenting new test methods• Updating existing documentation to be medically compliant where relevant• Creating test plans for several test and verification runs and leading the team through these test runs• Performing tests according to (medical) standards and analysing the test results• Always keeping the highest quality mindset• Analysing, documenting and reporting the test results to stakeholders, within the team and within the project

In een R&D project voor een industriële printer was ik deel van het procedé team.In dit project werkte in aan het doorgronden en beoordelen van printkwaliteit. Hiervoor heb ik verschillende experimenten uitgevoerd en daarbij de printkwaliteit gekwantificeerd. De data die hier uit voort kwam analyseerde ik met behulp van Matlab en Python scripts, om enerzijds de correcte afstelling van de printer te beoordelen en anderzijds printartefacten op te sporen en te doorgronden.In deze rol kreeg ik de ruimte en gelegenheid om autonoom te werken en mee te denken aan de mogelijke oorzaken van en oplossingen voor printartifacten. Daarnaast heb ik proactief verbeteringen voor het in-house Python platform voorgesteld en kunnen delen met de ontwikkelaars hiervan. Deze feedback werd zeer gewaardeerd en tevens toegepast.

Als engineer was ik verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, testen en productie gereed maken van de productie apparatuur welke door U-Needle gebruikt wordt voor het afmonteren van de micro-naald. Mijn specialisme was de vision inspectie van de micro-naald.Daarnaast heb ik de ICT infrastructuur gefaciliteerd voor o.a. deze productie apparatuur.

High Tech Factory, Enschede

Als afstudeeropdracht heb ik een geautomatiseerd, optisch inspectie systeem ontwikkeld welke de micro-naald van U-Needle kan inspecteren op verscheidene parameters.De hardware heb ik in samenwerking met IMS Research gerealiseerd en de inspectie software heb ik zelf ontwikkeld. De eerste versie van het systeem was in staat om enkele parameters herhaaldelijk en reproduceerbaar te inspecteren.

High Tech Factory, Enschede

Het onderzoeken van de oorzaak van de baselinedip in een lab-on-a-chip (LOC) systeem door het toepassen van Design of Experiments. Om meerdere parameters mee te kunnen nemen in dit project heb ik honderden LOC's optisch geïnspecteerd, individueel en uniek gelabeld en uiteindelijk gemeten. De data heb ik geanalyseerd m.b.v. Minitab.In dit zelfstandig laboratorium onderzoek heb ik de oorzaak van het probleem grotendeels kunnen bepalen.
