In the role, I own the general health, safety and reliability of the electrical systems on the Woodside offshore gas platforms North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn Alpha and Angel. This includes all electrical power generation, electrical distribution, electrical protection, emergency power systems and generation, the world's first offshore BESS (battery energy storage system), hazardous area rated equipment, drilling systems and utilities, emergency navigational aids, diesel systems and fuel oil.

Pluto Lng Park, Karratha, Western Australia, Australia

Onsite Pluto LNG Park Surveillance Electrical Engineer. I was the sole Electrical Engineer on-site and I supported day-to-day operations and fault finding. Achieved transition from N+1 plant power generation philosophy to N through power management system upgrades, writing new operating guides and providing and executing engineering solutions to improve generator reliability. Improvements allowed the facility to take off a generator, significantly reducing fuel gas usage, emissions and passing on cost savings.

As an FPSO Surveillance ICE Engineer, I provide reactive technical maintenance support to operators offshore on Woodside floating product, storage and offloading facilities, Okha, Nganhurra and Ngujima Yin. I am the first point of contact for any short term issues related to instrumentation, controls and electrical systems. As part of my role, I am also involved in routine proactive maintenance of Siemens, ABB and Honeywell control systems on Woodside FPSOs. This role relies heavily on technical capabilities, communication and management skills.
