About Bart Heuvingh

Ik geloof er heilig in dat we meer uit sporters kunnen halen, wanneer zij denken, leren en werken vanuit de overtuiging dat verder ontwikkelen/leren altijd mogelijk is. Deze overtuiging wordt ook wel een groei mindset genoemd. Een groei mindset, het geloof dat talent en vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen zijn, is de basis voor talentontwikkeling.'De term natuurtalent is een misleidend concept! Sporters die geloven dat ze een natuurtalent zijn verliezen motivatie: waarom hard werken als het allemaal gaat om de juiste genen"Mijn missie is om ervoor te zorgen dat sporters talent niet zien als iets dat ze enkel hebben gekregen bij hun geboorte en dus vaststaat, maar dat talent iets is dat (verder) te ontwikkelen is en dus dynamisch is. Ik doe dit door het stimuleren van een groei mindset bij sporters, trainer/coaches en ouders. Vervolgens ondersteun ik mensen om deze groei mindset in te zetten op verschillende gebieden die belangrijk zijn voor een topsporter: voeding, mentaal, persoonlijkheidsontwikkeling en gezondheid. Daarnaast maak ik op het gebied van groei mindset graag de koppeling tussen topsport, onderwijs en het bedrijfsleven, omdat ik erin geloof dat deze werkvelden allemaal gebaat zijn bij een groei mindset. Zoals Ruud van Nistelrooy zei tijdens een workshop mindset: "Een groei mindset is niet alleen belangrijk bij sporters, maar ook bij leerlingen, muzikanten en werknemers. Je hebt er wat aan overal in je leven!"
