I have a vested interest in fostering social and economic opportunities through providing better access to quality education. My main focus is on the fast-growing international higher education sector, with particular attention paid to online learning technologies and their application. I have over twenty years of experience in higher education as a teacher, scholar, aid worker, and business developer. Most recently, I worked in China, Korea, Europe, and North America establishing university partnerships and bolstering global student recruitment. Before that, I worked with Indonesian and American government agencies to strengthen higher education in Indonesia and foster research and academic exchanges between the two countries. Through my scholarly, humanitarian, and commercial work I have acquired an in-depth understanding of higher education systems and markets in Southeast and East Asia, Europe, and North America.I also have extensive international experience in humanitarian aid and development.
