  • Odyssey Space Research, Llc
    Software And Aerospace Engineer
Odyssey Space Research, Llc May 2024 - Aug 2024
    Boulder, Colorado, United States
At Odyssey, I contributed to the development of software solutions for space exploration projects, focusing on Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Propulsion (GNCP) systems. I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize spaceflight software. I coded in C/C++ and Python within Linux development environments to support software lifecycles for spacecraft. I also assisted in creating simulation models using NASA’s Trick simulation framework and developed tools for NASA’s Core Flight Software (cFS).I participated in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing of flight-critical systems. Odyssey provided me with hands-on experience in testing and debugging real-time spaceflight systems, contributing to system reliability and performance optimization. My role was dedicated to supporting analysis and simulations for NASA and commercial space missions

  • Augustus Aerospace Company
    Radio Frequency Engineer
Augustus Aerospace Company May 2023 - Aug 2023
    Lone Tree, Colorado, United States
Throughout this internship, I built electronics, constructed embedded software, and built waveforms to establish and evaluate a wireless mm wave White Rabbit System capable of synchronizing remote receivers through a two way time transfer protocol. The purpose was to illustrate a two way time transfer synchronization time of one picosecond using software defined radio and digital signal processing. At Augustus, I developed and evaluated a wireless mm-wave White Rabbit System, constructing electronics, embedded software, and simulating waveforms. I achieved system synchronization of remote receivers through a two-way time transfer mechanism. Throughout the summer, I demonstrated one-picosecond synchronization via software-defined radio (SDR) and digital signal processing (DSP) for two-way time transfer. I also led back-end development of a bistatic radar system utilizing SDARS signals, successfully extending detection range to 50 miles. I utilized Ansys Mechanical FEA software to design, simulate, and test a full-size high-gain antenna, capable of tracking satellite signals in low Earth orbit (LEO) and geosynchronous orbit (GEO). Designed a high-gain antenna system with a 25 dBi gain to improve satellite communication signal reception. Implemented custom servo control algorithms and precise control code using MATLAB and C++, enabling real-time satellite signal tracking and ensuring uninterrupted data transmission.
  • Access
    Event Management Employee
    Access May 2022 - May 2023
    Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States
During my time with Access, I helped plan and execute events for traveling companies. Every day was a different task, but it usually involved organizing guests, coordinating with multiple managers, and ensuring that the event went as planned. I worked at the Denver International Airport, the Gaylord Rockies Resort, the Broadmoor, and a variety of event locations around Colorado.
