Graduated MSc Architecture at the TU Delft. I have a fascination for collective housing blocks and public buildings. Each in their own way, these buildings bring people together. The design of these buildings and the social dynamics surrounding them are an interesting design challenge. I have a special interest in re-use as well. Many old buildings have structures that can be re-used or repurposed, greatly reducing material usage and embedded energy. Thinking different about the way we design facades and interiors can also greatly reduce environmental impact. To me, using less is the first step towards sustainability. Often a lot of architectural quality is hidden in these themes.In my personal life, I have a great passion for music. I'm a DJ and I produce music. I also am- and have been involved in the organisation of music events in Utrecht, Nijmegen and The hague. Because of this, I have gained a great deal of knowledge about sound and acoustics. I enjoy applying this knowledge again in the design of buildings.
