Working in aquaculture, particularly in modelling, seaweeds and echinoderm production, to contribute towards enhancing the sustainability of the industry and mitigating climate change. I have just submitted my PhD titled; 'Using modelling to assess the feasibility of a commercial-scale recirculating aquaculture system integrating sea urchins (Tripneustes gratilla) and seaweed (Ulva lacinulata)'. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained practical experience working on farms and collaborating with various aquaculture and fisheries establishments, including seaweed, sea urchin, abalone and trout farms. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of industry challenges and provided me with the ability to develop effective and practical solutions. Simultaneously, I have leveraged my expertise in marketing by offering consulting services to climate change startups and other companies seeking sustainable solutions.As a consultant, I am excited to bring my skills, knowledge, and passion to collaborate with organisations dedicated to sustainable aquaculture practices. I am committed to assisting businesses in optimising their operations, developing innovative strategies, and navigating the complexities of the industry with a strong focus on environmental sustainability.
