At D2S I work with a team of developers consisting of backend, front-end and full stack engineers on the web aspects of SmartTwin. Besides development work in C# I also work on the DevOps environment within the company, planning out hosting, selecting tooling and implementing pipelines and workflows.

At Zetes I was part of the team maintaining and updating the highly customized version of Chronos deployed at a customer. Within the team I worked as backend C# engineer, with very limited front-end work.

As part of the HMI team at STS, I develop C# applications to provide an interface for control of the systems build by STS. Both monolithic and micro-service architectures are in use for these projects. The applications are developed in close cooperation with the PLC software team.Beside being part of the team designing and building the HMI, I am also one of the people tasked with implementing the interfaces to cusomer MES software systems.

Binnen NAA hou ik mij bezig met het automatiseren van verschillende bedrijfsprocessen. Voor deze processen ontwikkel in in C#.NET en ASP.NET (Core) software om de datastromen te beheersen. Hierbij wordt er veelvuldig gebruik gemaakt van integraties met Microsoft producten en het door NAA gebruikte ERP systeem.

Current project:Research into implementing a Beckhoff EtherCAT backbone for a highly adaptive factory designed for Industry 4.0. Using the EtherCAT backbone a variety of cells can de controlled, including but not limited to a 3DOF delta robot, a 6DOF delta robot, an UR5 robotic arm, conveyor belts, feeder stations and a multi-robot transport system consisting of multiple AGVs.This project includes designing electrical schematics, component selection and PLC software design.Previous project:Continuation of the FPGA accelerated PID controller project.Building on top of the internship project, the system will be expanded with EtherCAT slave capabilities using a Beckhoff ET1200 EtherCAT slave ASIC connected to the Zynq chip over SPI.

Research and development of an FPGA accelerated PID controller, controlled using Linux build on a Xilinx Zynq All-Programmable SoC.During my internship I developed Linux device drivers for the PID controller, an PWM generator and an quadrature decoder block. All of these blocks are interfaced with the processors using the AXI bus. I also developed interfacing and testing software for the drivers and hardware blocks.My internship has been rewarded with 9.0.
