• Leading accounts to provide media-related counsel and working with account teams to develop and execute effective communications strategies that will build and reinforce clients’ brand positioning. • Developing and maintaining relationships with the media that will result in positive visibility opportunities for clients and reinforce their positive reputation with key audiences.• Developing various content that aligns with clients’ tone of voice and targeted platform; communications support includes story development, writing, and placement as well as oversight of media related activities (e.g., press releases, Op-Eds, bylined articles, editorial boards, media events, roundtables, etc.). • Overseeing communications to the media and providing follow-up articles and necessary reputation and crisis management when needed.• Building external partnerships and strategic alliances with key decision makers to foster cooperation and relationships with clients. • Developing relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure the promotion of clients’ reputations and to deflect criticism. • Participating in the firm’s business development initiatives by contributing to lead generation and leading new business pitches.
