I am a Research Associate at the Council for Strategic and Defense Research, New Delhi, and am involved in organising the Chao Track India-Pakistan Dialogue at the Track-II level. Presently, I am also a South Asia Visiting Fellow at the Stimson Center, Washington DC. I write a weekly column titled Eye on the Middle East for Hindustan Times Premium. My research principally focuses on conflict resolution, strategic issues, violent non-state actors, international law, and hard security issues relevant to India's foreign policy. I write for Hindustan Times, Frontline (The Hindu), The Diplomat, the Observer Research Foundation, and other platforms/institutes, on military, political, and strategic issues pertaining to South and West Asia.
