I am seeking a full-time position that is not only in line with my knowledge, skills and abilities in the area of business management and accounting, but will also advance my goal to pursue a career in procurement and public contracting. I am currently in my last semester at the University of the District of Columbia, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), majoring in Procurement and Public Contracting. I am an efficient and hardworking person, with five years of experience as a legal assistant intern with a federal government agency (DOJ) as well as 2 years working at UDC in the IT department, Records management and Procurement department. I am proficient in working with computers and programs such as, Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Together with my years of experience working as an intern, and current matriculation at the University, I believe that I will bring to the internship a solid foundation and work ethic.
