About Basilin Benson
My duties as a Bioinformatician include analyzing bioinformatic data, oral and written communication of his results, and working with laboratory members to discuss and refine analyses. The predominant scope of this work is analyzing large variable (“omic”) biologic datasets with a major focus on Bulk RNA sequencing data and Single cell RNA sequencing which is then integrated with laboratory experiments in conjunction with other lab members. Over the course of the past year I have with the help of my colleagues developed polished coding packages and standard pipelines which have helped other users in the lab. I have also successfully completed 2 projects which are currently under the process of being published as research papers for established journals.
