Engineering Manager
Current- Managing technical, financial and project management aspects during a tender participation and project execution process (e.g. product selection, man hours calculation, documentation, FAT, SAT and handover).- Leading the implementation of industrial automation projects mainly using Siemens and ABB platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.- Preparing project schedule and tracking progress and deadlines for effective execution from start till end.- Managing the project expenses and keeping an eye on profit margins while ensuring that all ongoing projects are supplied with high-quality deliverables as per agreed timelines.- Inspecting ongoing projects and services as per company HSE policy, ensuring team’s HSE KPIs and compliance levels are sustained above targets.- Responsible for continuous skill development and arrangement of broad-spectrum training for team members so that they are well versed with new products and upcoming trends in industries.- Providing technical support for pre-sales and bidding activities.- Coordination with third party vendors for the arrangement of supplies and services falling outside company expertise and scope. Ensuring all required material, tools, manpower and services are arranged on time.- Maintaining a good relationship with both the clients and vendors. Targeting new service orders from customers on the basis of quality services provided during past projects.- Early assessment of risks involved in a project execution to minimize unplanned overheads and associated losses. Respecting customer agreements and safeguarding company interests by securing repeat orders for works that fall outside agreed scope and services.- Evaluating new technologies and innovations in the field of industrial automation and recommending appropriate solutions to enhance the capabilities and competitiveness of the company.
