In Aon I started in the business development department. Young and fresh as I was, I was allowed to break traditional boundaries with new ideas on doing business. My manager and coach supported me with the needed political influence. Together we made long lasting change in how a 1500+ company organized their commercial trajectories.

When joining the board I met a serious challenge to turn around the poor financial state and lack of executive cohesion. Both took tremendous effort and focus to turn around, but after a few years I was able to leave the board with a school which was financially healthy and new executives with great cohesion and joined focus. Co-founder and Vice Chairman of ‘Islamic Commerce’. Research organization for the establishment of Islamic finance products in the Netherlands. Informed and negotiated with governmental organizations and local banks, to adjust legislation and adopt innovative products for the Muslim niche market. Results are returning discussions on the topic in the media.

Business partner with founder of ‘Capsters.com’. Responsible for expansion of sales and production of fashion articles. Established new liaisons with production companies, created an Internet shop and established a retail network.
