A BAFTA-nominated (New Media) multi-media event in Trafalgar Square. A key element was the web feed that I managed which, with over 400,000 viewers in one month, was the internet’s most visited arts website; streaming huge amounts of footage throughout the 100 day event.I also received training in camera work and art direction from Anthony Gormley and Oscar-nominated director Mike Figgis during the event.‣ Liaising with the event producers and broadcasters to manage content, prepare for upcoming events and aid the production of a weekly highlights show on Sky Arts.‣ Managing and operating an online forum to interact with viewers and fans through Twitter, Flickr and various other media.

My, originally full-time now freelance, role involved working with broadcasters & newspapers, players and officials to provide electronic line calling and added value coverage to the broadcasts.‣ Working with sports broadcasters such as: BBC, ESPN, NBC, Tennis Channel, Channel 7 (Australia), SuperSports (South Africa), France2, Sport+ (France), TVE (Spain), Al-Jazeera Sport (Doha) as well as companies in Germany, Switzerland, Argentina and World feed outputs.‣ Managing every aspect of Hawk-eye teams at top global sports events to provide line-calling technology and broadcast graphics back-up.‣ Producing animated graphics explaining players’ techniques and trends in the play.‣ Working alongside directors, producers, graphics departments and leading commentators on live broadcasts.‣ Building graphics for use in national newspapers (The Guardian and New York Times).
