Direct the online communications of the Office of the Governor for the state of Texas. Redesigned and redeveloped the Office's website, by playing multiple roles as strategist, project manager, information architect, UI expert, content director, marketer and more.Accomplished a list of "firsts" for the Governor's Office of the second largest state in the US including, delivered first multi-author publishing system for the website, first establishing in-house multimedia capabilities, first to create the Office's social presence and brand (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube channel, Google+, LinkedIn, Picasa, Flickr and Instagram), first to enable user based content sharing (AddThis), and first to bring web analytics and metrics reporting. Travel with governor, taking a lead role in developing video and Internet portions of press conferences, public appearances and official duties.
