As a dedicated Youth Coordinator at the Young Resilient Women Circle and an active Youth Member of the Association of Women for Awareness and Motivation (AWAM), I am passionate about advocating for the rights and empowerment of marginalized communities. Recently, I completed my degree in International Relations, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of global dynamics and human rights issues.AWAM, a women-led registered organization, focuses its resources and efforts on mainstreaming the less-privileged and marginalized sections of society, including women, persons with disabilities, and religious minorities.At AWAM, our key areas of engagement include:Human Rights Education: Promoting awareness and understanding of human rights among communities.Research and Policy Analysis: Conducting in-depth research to inform policy decisions and advocate for change.Influencing Decision Makers: Engaging with policymakers to drive legislative and societal improvements.Connectivity of Local Groups with State Institutions: Bridging the gap between grassroots organizations and state institutions to amplify local voices.Our work involves collaboration with Human Rights Institutions, lawmakers, law enforcers, political and religious factions, and community groups to ensure that the concerns of the grassroots are communicated effectively to decision-makers. Through these efforts, AWAM strives to contribute to the establishment of a just, peaceful, and inclusive society where diversity is respected, and all individuals are treated equally.I am committed to my role to foster positive change and support the mission of creating an equitable society for all.
