The State of New Jersey is a regional government affiliation which hosted an active learning internship with the Department Of Health which allowed for students across different universities to participate in Public Health related programs. The New Jersey Department Of Health had projects related to health and wellness with educated mentors that allowed each intern to grow & learn new skills during the duration of the internship.My team was trained to create a virtual learning experience on Occupational Health & Safety utilizing Adobe Captivate PRO Software and Learning Management System. As an intern, I was designated to assist the training requirements of staff within Public Health and Environmental Laboratories (PHEL), with emphasis on general safety training. My team was promoting Occupational Health & Safety throughout the PHEL Department of Health.Some of my responsibilities included:• Creating a virtual learning experience on Occupational Health & Safety utilizing Adobe Captivate PRO Software and Learning Management System• Explaining the training requirements of staff within PHEL, with emphasis on general safety training• Communicating with numerous project managers to learn more about Public Health• Teach learning management system to administrators to use the Adobe Captivate PRO Software and Learning Management System properly

Rutgers University is an active regional learning community which allowed me to become a Volunteer Research Assistant for an independent research study. As a Volunteer Research Assistant it was essential to find information and development of HIV in low income communities. I was designated to create a comprehensive table detailing study design, exposure, primary outcome, outcome, and results for research purposes. I also provided research paper searches to support the project's objectives of HIV in low income areas.
