In June of 2023 I began doing Assistant Photography for weddings and events for Kelly Whitman Photography. I am responsible for assisting with coordination of guests for the photo arrangements, as well as taking professional shots on a Pentax K-1 camera for the duration of the events. Our typical wedding shoots can last from 6 to 12 hours, and we usually travel to multiple locations for photos during the events of each day. Under this role I specialize in indoor and outdoor photography with a 35mm and 80mm lens, and am always looking for an opportunity to capture great memories.

In February of 2019 I earned a promotion to General Manager of the Boulder BC Surf & Sport location. I was responsible for the management, scheduling, and payroll of 9 to 11 sales associates to exceed our daily earnings goals. I also continued to hold previous responsibilities such as shipping management of the e-commerce store, return authorizations, receiving and placement of purchase orders, and transferring of product. I created a positive working environment through developing and supporting a grade-A crew. From February 2019 to July 2023 I ensured the success of the Boulder BC location through leading all aspects of the business, from hiring employees to sales reports and daily accounting of earnings.

In May of 2017 I graduated from CU, and I was promoted to a full-time position at BC Surf & Sport. I began working as a manager and key-holder for two locations; the Boulder (29th Street Mall) and Broomfield (Flatirons Crossing Mall) locations. This position included all of my previous work responsibilities such as opening and closing both stores, counting down registers, taking deposits, customer service, and management of the sales associates from two stores. During this time I also started training under the former Assistant Merchandising Manager, and when she resigned I took over merchandising responsibilities for the Boulder and Broomfield BC stores. My merchandising responsibilities include major wallshifts, changing the window displays, and section re-arrangements when seasons change; for example shifting the store from Snowboard-centric during the winter to Skate-, Swim- & Beach-focused in the summer. I worked this position until I was promoted to General Manager in February of 2019.

In August of 2014 I moved to work at the Boulder location of BC Surf & Sport part-time during college when I transferred universities and began attending CU Boulder. Shortly after I began working at this location I was promoted to Keyholder and Manager, and given the responsibility of opening and closing the store, taking cash deposits, and setting the alarm (trusted to be the first one to arrive to and last one to leave the store). I also learned how to create & receive product transfers, complete shipping and fulfillment of internet orders, and process shipment of product to other BC Surf & Sport stores. I worked part-time under this position until I graduated college from CU Boulder in Spring of 2017.

From May of 2011 until August of 2014 I worked part-time as a Snowboard Technician and Sales Associate at the Park Meadows location of BC Surf & Sport. During this time I had transferred colleges to attend CU Denver, and this allowed me to pick up part-time hours while attending school. My back-room duties included wax, tune and repair of snowboards. On the sales floor my responsibilities included ringing out customers and returns and exchanges, as well as completing special orders, overall customer service, and pulling product transfers to send to other BC locations.

From August 2009 until August 2010 I was working part-time at BC Surf & Sport's Park Meadows location. I was working as a retail sales associate helping customer's with any needs on the sales floor. I held this position through my senior year of High School, and took a break from being employed here during my Freshmen year of college at CSU.
