I graduated in 2022 from Michigan Technological University with two B.S. degrees, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. I pursued a concentration in Electric Power Systems, which kickstarted my interest in working in the power industry, and introduced me to commercial and industrial construction. I spent a year in the Employee Rotational Program through APi Group Inc. which toured me around the country, exposing me to a wide variety of construction work. Some of the industries I've worked in so far include residential, commercial, and industrial fire alarm and sprinkler, special hazard fire suppression, underground and aerial fiber optic installation, pipe and building insulation, scaffold, metal roofing & siding, and chemical coatings. I've spent time in the field experiencing first-hand what goes into getting a job done right and done safe, and I've spent time in the office, learning how to track and manage projects to make them profitable. I'm now taking on a larger task of evaluating and streamlining current business processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost within the business structure. I'm utilizing experience in the field and understanding of back-office procedures to integrate new technology, including Microsoft Power Automate and Power Bi, Excel, and additional external business management tools.
