Started career with Sri Ram ball bearings(a private enterprise) in Ranchi(erstwhile Bihar).Then got through Coal India(PSU) and was appointed as ET(Executive Trainee) in 1983.Served there for a good 18 years and quit in March,2000 to join another PSU, Bharat Earth Movers Limited as DGM(BD).Served there till late 2009 when he was selected for the post of Director(Commercial),MSTC Ltd.(Metal Scrap Trading Corporation) by PESB(Public Enterprise Selection Board). He finally joined in that capacity on 31st May,2010.He was finally selected to handle the helm of affairs at MSTC and joined as CMD, Mstc Ltd.(A Mini Nav Ratna enterprise) in June,2016.
