About Rebecca Baylor Fierro

My mission is to help businesses find their future leaders, and to help amazing candidates find their next big opportunity at an industry-defining company.Prior to my current role, I led the State of Missouri's talent development program, ENGAGE 2.0. The program supports over 45,000 employees from 14 state Agencies. My work focused on building a strong workforce made up of coaches who have the skills to grow individual and team success.I've also consulted with organizations to help them measure and manage their social impacts. I've worked on projects in 9+ countries, with budgets ranging from $10K to $500K, in both English and Spanish. Whether working with food entrepreneurs in Detroit or social enterprises in Latin America, I love leading teams to success. And I always approach problems with creativity and a positive attitude.At the University of Michigan, I pursued diverse training. My graduate degree spanned the fields of business, sustainability, education, and public policy. Key accomplishments include: - A competitive 3-month fellowship in Bangalore, India. I worked with a start-up tech company, SoPact, and a non-profit, EnAble India, to promote the economic independence of people with disabilities. - Interdisciplinary consultative project with the Greater Lansing Food Bank. My team evaluated the feasibility of incubator farm-food bank partnerships in the U.S. - Five Graduate Student Instructor positions. I taught over 250 students across three departments and six professors.My undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Communications. Early on in my academic career, I designed and published a research study, excelled as a Varsity Debater, and studied abroad in 8 countries.
