I am a registered Civil Engineer with a wealth of experience in the field of structural engineering, project management, technical research and software development. I have been involved in greenfield and brownfield projects with a resounding success.As a structural engineer for over twelve years, I have demonstrated the ability to spearhead large, multi-billion projects from conceptualization, feasibility study, preliminary engineering, detailed design and to execution (construction/implementation). In 2014, I streamlined K2 Specialist Services’ standard engineering procedure, including development of automated calculation sheets, resulting to department’s 22% increase in performance efficiency and productivity.As a project engineer in 2018, I played a key role in crafting project scopes for Linde Gas’ US$1.4 billion integrated manufacturing complex in Singapore, which will quadruple the company’s current production capacity of hydrogen and synthesis gas by year 2023.I am currently working as a Research Engineer at Kajima Technical Research Institute Singapore (KaTRIS). My research and development activities are focus on value adding, productivity improvement and cost reduction in building resilient and sustainable infrastructures/products by leveraging engineering informatics, advanced technologies and innovative solutions.I enjoy studying and taking advantage of the application of advanced computing, information and communication technologies to civil engineering. I keep up to the latest state-of-the-art through self-learning, reading journals, attending seminars and conferences, and networking with people who share the same interest.
