Work alongside the community to challenge the school pushout of students of color, immigrant students, and English-language learners, with a focus on eliminating the school-to-prison/deportation pipeline, through direct representation, community education, policy advocacy, and impact litigation in the Inland Empire.

Contributed to litigation challenging a school district’s anti-critical race theory resolution and a forced outing policy. Conducted legal research, developed arguments, assisted with discovery, and organized plaintiff meetings.

Conducted legal research to identify claims against a school district’s policy restricting tribal regalia at graduation. Researched tribal consultation requirements for federal education grants for Indigenous students. Assisted in fact-finding for a case challenging systemic violations affecting Black, Indigenous, and Latine students with disabilities..
