Bill Burton is Executive Chairman of Mithoff Burton Partners, one of the oldest ad agencies in Texas. He has been with the agency for more than 51 years. His agency has been presented with numerous civic and charitable awards, and creative awards for work in print and design, broadcast, outdoor, direct mail, and public relations. Bill is active in professional organizations and has served as President and a member of the Board of Trustees for Worldwide Partners, Inc., a global organization of independent advertising agencies. He is past President and Board Member of Southwestern Association of Advertising Agencies, and served as Vice President of the Advertising Federation of El Paso.A native El Pasoan, Bill graduated from Jesuit High School in El Paso and is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, with a B.A. degree in Journalism. He is a past Member of the Rotary Club of El Paso, and the Executive Committee for the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as President of the Board of Governors for El Paso Country Club. Bill was chosen to be a member of Class 1 of Leadership El Paso, and was selected Leadership Chairman for Class 10. He has held numerous board positions for the Downtown Lions Club, El Paso Boys’ Club, Crimestoppers, Southwestern Community House, United Way, Holy Cross Retreat House Foundation, and the Sun Bowl Association. He is a life member of Sunturians. Bill has accepted leadership roles in various fund-raising projects for numerous civic and charity organizations including serving as Celebrity Waiter for Hospice, campaigns for YMCA, YWCA, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Avance, El Paso Cancer Treatment Center, El Paso Lighthouse for the Blind, March of Dimes, and Girls Scouts.
