o The North Bay Climate Adaptation Initiative (NBCAI) is a coalition of natural resource managers, policy makers, and scientists committed to working together to create positive solutions to the problem of climate adaptation for the ecosystems and watersheds of Sonoma County.o Members are experts and conservation leaders drawn from natural resource science and management organizations throughout the region.o Since climate adaptation is ultimately a regional issue, our goal is to pilot an approach in Sonoma County that can be extended throughout the North Bay as a whole.o Ongoing work is accomplished through three working groups and a coordination committee: Monthly meetings are held on 1) Public Policy, 2) Habitat Conservation and Stewardship, 3) Science and Technology, and 4) Coordination.o My role was to provide central administrative coordination, attend and take notes at all meetings, assist with development of a long-range fundraising strategy, create an outreach presentation to attract and retain new members, and maintain the organizational website.

Plone provides tools for building easy-to-edit web sites that can be managed from any computer with a web browser.o In addition, numerous add-on products are available to further customize and extend Plone's base set of features, giving Plone the ability to grow with your organization's needs for online tools and additional web services.

o Provided central coordination for a collaborative network of over fifty-five member organizations actively pursuing regional initiatives to permanently protect and steward important parks, trails, and agricultural lands in the San Francisco Bay Area.o Coordinated and staffed State legislative efforts to increase funding for watershed restoration projects, including meeting with legislators, staff, and committees. Organized support campaigns and led public outreach efforts for passage of Transportation Fund for Clean Water by State Assembly and Senate.o Vice-Chair of San Francisco Bay Joint Venture (SFBJV) Management Board and Chair of SFBJV Regional Creeks Committee. Organized and facilitated frequent committee meetings and public workshops. Worked closely with numerous citizen-based groups and other community stakeholders to increase effectiveness of restoration efforts. Produced report on impacts of infrastructure barriers on riparian and wetland resources.
