Working to develop and implement the Sonoma Climate Mobilization Strategy, aimed at mobilizing a countywide emergency response to match the scale of the current climate crisis. The Strategy sets a goal of making Sonoma County carbon neutral by 2030.

Sonoma County Energy Watch (SCEW) is a partnership between Sonoma County and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) designed to help you save energy and money while reducing your impact on the climate. We provide energy efficiency services to local governments, nonprofit organizations and small businesses. Our services include: free energy audits, free technical assistance, free consultation, rebates and incentives, and multiple financing options.

The Energy and Sustainability division is responsible for the planning, evaluating and administering the County-wide Energy Management and Sustainability Program. Services include long and short range energy and green procurement strategies, effective and efficient energy use and sustainability practices, and County employee commute reduction planning.

o The North Bay Climate Adaptation Initiative (NBCAI) is a coalition of natural resource managers, policy makers, and scientists committed to working together to create positive solutions to the problem of climate adaptation for the ecosystems and watersheds of Sonoma County.o Members are experts and conservation leaders drawn from natural resource science and management organizations throughout the region.o Since climate adaptation is ultimately a regional issue, our goal is to pilot an approach in Sonoma County that can be extended throughout the North Bay as a whole.o Ongoing work is accomplished through three working groups and a coordination committee: Monthly meetings are held on 1) Public Policy, 2) Habitat Conservation and Stewardship, 3) Science and Technology, and 4) Coordination.o My role was to provide central administrative coordination, attend and take notes at all meetings, assist with development of a long-range fundraising strategy, create an outreach presentation to attract and retain new members, and maintain the organizational website.

o Ecollaboration Web Services provides content management systems and web site design to non-profit organizations, government agencies, and small businesses dedicated to natural resource conservation, ecological sustainability, and building whole communities.o We offer open source software solutions, such as web server hosting and web site development, using the Plone Content Management System (CMS). Plone provides tools for building easy-to-edit web sites that can be managed from any computer with a web browser.o In addition, numerous add-on products are available to further customize and extend Plone's base set of features, giving Plone the ability to grow with your organization's needs for online tools and additional web services.

o Provided central coordination for a collaborative network of over fifty-five member organizations actively pursuing regional initiatives to permanently protect and steward important parks, trails, and agricultural lands in the San Francisco Bay Area.o Coordinated and staffed State legislative efforts to increase funding for watershed restoration projects, including meeting with legislators, staff, and committees. Organized support campaigns and led public outreach efforts for passage of Transportation Fund for Clean Water by State Assembly and Senate.o Vice-Chair of San Francisco Bay Joint Venture (SFBJV) Management Board and Chair of SFBJV Regional Creeks Committee. Organized and facilitated frequent committee meetings and public workshops. Worked closely with numerous citizen-based groups and other community stakeholders to increase effectiveness of restoration efforts. Produced report on impacts of infrastructure barriers on riparian and wetland resources.

o Facilitated citizen involvement in local creek stewardship through production of quarterly outreach newsletters and educational curriculum guides. Assisted with Kids In Creeks and Watching Our Watersheds educator training workshops.o Created and maintained organizational Web site. Managed outreach database, sent monthly press releases, and tracked publicity received from local newspapers.

o Coordinated public forums and standing committees as part of neighborhood revitalization effort. Acted as liaison between residents, business interests, city officials, and other community stakeholders.

o Designed catalogs, brochures, and promotional mailers. Represented company at promotional trade shows. Designed, edited, and proofread books for publication.
