Responsible for supervision of engineering and consulting team preparing the design and environmental clearances. Achieved successful completion of the CEQA environmental impact report in only 15 months to meet strict state funding deadline for the $100 million Trade Corridor Enhancement Program grant received from the California Transportation Commission. Coordinating with the California High Speed Rail Authority on their oversight for the preparation of the NEPA environmental assessment to fulfill the requirements of the $20 million federal BUILD grant received from USDOT. • Responsible for preparation of the SJRRC/ACE/SJJPA capital budget and assisting with preparation of the annual SJRRC/ACE operating budget.• Supervising Capital Programs staff to ensure grants and reporting are submitted accurately and timely, and leading pursuit of discretionary federal, state, and local funding opportunities. • Serving as SJRRC representative for the SJCOG Technical Advisory Committee and the ACTC Technical Advisory Committee.

Led the PA&ED and PS&E phases for the SR 99/120 Connector Project and the SR 99/Turner Road Interchange Project, and completed Project Study Reports for the I-205 Managed Lanes Project, I-5 Mossdale Widening, and SR 120 Widening. Led procurements and managed consultant contracts, programming of projects, and coordinated with federal, state, regional, and local agencies. Citrus Heights, California, United States

Participated in a city wide inventory of tree populations as Phase I of the Citrus Heights Urban Greening Strategy. Tree species, condition, and sizes for city parcels, public right of way, and city managed creek corridor parcels were recorded using a Trimple GeoXH GPS unit. GoogleEarth StreetView imagery was used to estimate tree species and sizes on residential parcels.
