About Benjamin Chamness

My undergraduate and graduate work at Southern Illinois fostered a love for student affairs, as I looked to encourage student development through involvement with campus organizations and engagement with university faculty. With University Student Housing at Texas Tech University, I developed solutions to help our staff members serve our students more efficiently and effectively. While I wasn't directly helping foster student engagement, I was building tools to help my colleagues in this pursuit.Moving to IT Team Web, I am helping ensure that all departments across the university have engaging and informative websites. Recently, my role has shifted slightly and sees me focusing more on the accessibility of our websites. In many ways, this circles back on my original passion of wanting my work to directly help those navigating college.Outside of the office, I have found a love for cooking, board games, woodworking, and hiking.Skills / Knowledge:NVDA, WCAG 2.2MS SQL, MySQL Microsoft AccessCSS, JS, PHP, HTMLCognos Analytics, Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework ManagerGoogle AnalyticsAtlassian JIRAStrengthsQuest = Learner, Harmony, Analytical, Input, Responsibility
