In this role, I helped develop more efficient ways to deliver consistent search work for our clients, wearing many hats in marketing, executive support, reporting, and search delivery.

• Solely responsible for the planning, ordering and inventory management of 748 packaging materials and 418 raw materials.• Created or changed an average of 50 – 70 new orders per week. Ensured confirmations were received and filed appropriately.• Optimized ERP system and planning parameters to meet production needs while optimizing warehouse space constraints.• Utilized SAP daily for a variety of transactions including: demand planning via MRP, production order creation, purchasing, order management, shipment tracking, inventory management, master data set up and maintenance, and data reporting.• In preparation for training of new material planner, created detailed process flow maps for core responsibilities.• Primary team lead for maintaining daily report variants and documenting process improvements including: monthly vendor forecasting, weekly material shortages, monthly SOX reports, vendor invoicing, and supplier corrective actions.• Helped to lower demurrage charges by $19,000 annually, by closely monitoring on-site freight.• Successfully managed transition to three new suppliers without customer impact while minimizing stranded inventory.• Provided operational support to manufacturing and filling areas, including: rush orders, quality issues, and vendor requests.

• Developed training manuals for two critical internal positions. • Supported Operations Manager in major system upgrade, analyzing new system functionality, converting data, revising work flows, and revamping training manuals to reflect new processes.• Worked with Strategic Recruiting Manager to develop and implement new recruiting process.

• Assisted Global Operations Business Leader (Supply Chain Director) in developing new private labeling process to increase customer service and minimize global inventory.o Interviewed experts from several business units to analyze costs. o Gathered pricing estimates and evaluated supplier capabilities.• Worked with Global Supply Chain Manager using SAP to analyze inventory and compare demand forecasts with actual production.• Gathered data from manufacturing sites in support of an inventory SKU reduction initiative.• Worked with internal quality team to revamp the customer complaint procedure by creating and implementing a new classification system, creating metrics, and re-designing the database.• Conducted cost-benefit analysis for disposition of non-productive inventory.• Updated value stream map and changed process flow for major customer.• Estimated appropriate safety stock levels for select raw materials, using various demand scenarios.
