I am a broadly trained ecologist focused on demystifying natural capital markets. My interest is in developing approaches for quantifying and fairly valuing all of the resourcescreated by natural systems, and in communicating the impacts of this work to a range of stakeholder audiences. I have a PhD in ecology and evolution from Rutgers University, and a background in ecological statistics and forest biometrics. In addition to my research science work, I have experience designing and executing forest inventory projects for range of clients at a range of scales, and in building predictive models within a production setting. More recently I have gained experience in content development and marketing, with a particular specialty in communicating complex scientific concepts and statistical approaches for market stakeholders such as buyers, landowners, and the general public. When I'm not working I enjoy birding, tracking, camping, and generally being outside with my wife and 3 year old son. I am based out of St. Paul, MN.
