Luckily at InfoComp a new and business critical web project was being developed and management decided to bite the bullet and hire a web designer, even luckier, we got Bruce. The team was arranged to provide the data integration and server functionality, whilst Bruce was taking data feeds and integrating them with web application user interface he was designing. I developed a great deal of respect for the clear, intuitive and concise user interfaces that Bruce crafted for the project. The page design was considered and meticuluous, with all aspects attended to. From the colour scheme that needed to match the client's existing web presence, to usability considerations around the placement of controls and the frequency of use, to dynamic presentation and effects. In the end, what I most admired about the work Bruce produced was the consistency of the design, which gave the application a cohesion that many a programmer struggles to achieve. I fully endorse Bruce for any future role he undertakes. His skills in page design are sheer artistry and when paired with his attention to usability and interface design considerations the resultant work is of high calibre.
