After selling my business I have used this time to learn the skills needed to pursue a new career in the cybersecurity industry. All of my skills are self taught using free or low cost resources such as Udemy, TryHackMe, and Google. I completed multiple learning paths including, Intro to Cybersecurity, Jr Penetration Tester and Cyber Defense. I completed the CompTIA Security+ (Plus) from Dion Training through Udemy, which ultimately led to taking and passing the CompTIA Security+ exam on the first try. I have completed various other courses in Udemy to gain knowledge and understanding in Linux and Python.

I created the nation's first profitable mobile IV therapy business model that was sold as “Business in a Box” to registered nurses, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals who wanted to make additional income or replace their full time job. I spearheaded the creation of a replicable business model for an emerging service in the wellness industry, leading to extensive growth. I created policies and Implemented security controls to protect PII and PHI of both employees and clients.I ensured over 600 providers across 37 states implemented and maintained HIPAA compliance through annual training and routine audits. I Investigated and responded to security breaches and recommended corrective action.

I operated tactical data information systems in high stress environments both in the US and Afghanistan. I also taught, trained, and mentored a team of 14 subordinates and ensured their mission readiness and technical competency. During my enlistment I helped coordinate 126 inter-agency training events, supporting the organization's strategic goals.I conducted and ensured annual cybersecurity training and compliance across the organization to maintain unit readiness and vigilance. I am a Combat Veteran - Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Special Operations Forces in 2017-2018. We completed our mission of eradicating the ISIS footprint in our area of operations.
