ASRC Research and Technology Solutions (ARTS): I am a software engineer, system administrator, and information system security officer (ISSO) for the NASA WorldWind project. WorldWind is an open source virtual globe API from NASA used to create interactive visualizations of 3D globes, maps and geographical information. Organizations around the world use WorldWind to monitor weather patterns, visualize cities and terrain, track vehicle movement, analyze geospatial data and educate humanity about the Earth. I support the WorldWind Android, JavaScript and Java SDKs and administrate the Linux map servers typically to US Government agencies, i.e., U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, NGA, DoJ and FAA.

Developing open source software for wildland firefighting and GIS solutions for commercial clients. • Designed an open source emergency management expert system for predicting the behavior of wildland fires.• Designed a commercial airborne mission management system used worldwide by the airborne law enforcement community.

• Architect and developer of a moving map and mission management system for airborne law enforcement and fire/rescue helicopters. • Directed entire software development process, including principle product design and implementation, code reviews, device integrations, spatial and relational data transformations, cartography, OS design and installers.
