I design ASICs and FPGAs with a strong focus on solving system problems involving a combination of device, board, firmware, and software. I enjoy complex design challenges, which allow me to develop creative solutions. I am particularly adept at locating problems and extracting their root cause. I am comfortable in front of a simulator as well as in the lab. I work best in team environments. Extensive experience in Verification, from low level component models to full system testbenches. I will often create Perl/Python/TCL scripts to assist with interaction with the tools used in the design process.
