I love to make jewelry. My inspiration comes from nature, and organic shapes and forms in my metalsmithing jewelry, however I also love working with vintage beads, chains, gemstones, and crystals. I admire the works of Miriam Haskell and Coppolo y Toppo, an Italian brother sister team that had a very short business in the early 90's.For years all of my friends kept telling me I should start my own business. I only made jewely for myself and friends, and feared that by starting my own business, the creativity would be lost. But I have finally decided to take their advice and start Women of Worth Jewelry. Working at Hermes of Paris was a wonderful time in my life. I learned so much about their ateliers of leather, fashion, jewelry, fragrance, so many things, as most everything they did back then was created by hand. I was fortunate to work with many important people and learn the art and influences of many different cultures. I learned how to be more connected with people and had many great relationships with customers, other employees both local and abroad.I worked there until I was eight and a half months pregnant with my wonderful son, Jimmy, and decided to become a stay at home mom for 12 years. Best 12 years of my life!Soon after we had Jimmy we moved back to Baltimore to be closer to his grandparents.Hermes of Paris is not an Investment Banking Industry as the subtitle says.
