About Erik Bean

Originally from Vancouver, Erik graduated with honours in Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia. Following several years of local architectural experience Erik attended the Aarhus School Of Architecture, Denmark, completing a Master’s In Architecture as the recipient of the prestigious CEBRA Thesis Innovation Award. Following an intensive architectural practice In Berlin, Germany, Erik returned to Vancouver to join TKA+D. Erik brings progressive European design ideals, as well as, foreign and local expertise in architectural design across diverse project typologies and scales. Erik is an Architect of the Royal Institute of British Architects and an Intern Architect of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia.
