The Young Enterprise Trust is a social enterprise that works with over 5,000 students in Year 9-13 across Aotearoa, running facilitated programmes in schools, trips and residential experiences to inspire the next generation of leaders and change makers. The trust also leads on delivering the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame and other prestigious events.Key Responsibilities:• Delivered “It’s Business Time Conference” at Te Papa to over 150 secondary teachers over 2 days.• Led on all logistics for the BP Business Challenge including liaising with sponsors and corporate volunteers, planning all 35 programmes including developing resources, communicating efficiently with schools and pivoting effectively when programmes had to be rescheduled due to industrial action.• Planned and organised Alumni Awards Gala at Icehouse for over 100 attendees, including catering, speakers, AV, awards, ticket sales and marketing. Achievements:• Redesigned our evaluation methods for BP Business Challenge improving our impact reporting to schools, resulting in increased school engagement for 2024. • Led effective communications and social media strategy which resulted in doubling of nominations for alumni awards, successfully growing our alumni network who are key ambassadors for the trusts brand.
