As a special programs administrator at Silver Sands Montessori Charter School, I oversaw the implementation and evaluation of various educational programs for students with diverse needs and abilities. I collaborated with teachers, parents, and community partners to ensure the alignment of the school's vision, mission, and goals with the best practices and standards of Montessori education. With a master's degree in special education and teaching from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Oregon, I have a strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment. I also have excellent communication and career planning skills, which I developed and honed as a department lead and a special education teacher at Pinecrest Academy of Nevada, where I received the Rising Star Award for being a promising 1st-3rd year teacher.
