I was hired as a financial tester but was soon moved to the functional team. I was working with Misys Risque. My task was to understand newly introduced features or modifications, create test plans, execute them and report bugs.

As a contractor I worked on a project that introduced new features to the company's own actuarial software. I was a one man team connecting the IT department and the actuaries. My task was to build a system of spreadsheets for testing purposes that reproduced the financials calculations made by the software.After completing this project I kept working on for IT testing other software. It involved working with databases using MS Access.
