Minimize inventory shortage and controllable losses for 14 thrift shops, warehouse and Bookstore. Develop policies and procedures, training programs to improve loss prevention and operational compliance at shops.Evaluate and develop improvements to current operations in the thrift shops, Bookstore, warehouse, moving and donations department.Conduct monthly audits for the shops, warehouse, and moving department. Analysis POS data to identify patterns of loss for the company and conduct internal investigations.Manage all IT and shop maintenance issues and escalate to external vendors.

Daily use of REI software to identify associates creating financial losses at the Point Of Sale for 400+ retail stores.Monitor and analyse daily alerts and KPI's to identify patterns, trends and exceptions in the POS transactional data.Create KPI's and adhoc queries to fit the immediate and changing needs of the Loss Prevention team.Maintain Perspective database of all exceptions and of all completed and closed investigations.Act as a resource to Brand Field Executives and Brand Operations.Prepare quarterly REI Brand Overview reports.

Daily research of POS data utilizing XBR and other financial data systems to identify and analyze patterns and trends of fraudulent behavior.Conduct analysis on Control Points and customizing the threshold to fit the need of each client.Communicate directly with clients to address loss prevention issues.Effectively utilize all available resources to initiate investigations.Investigate, research, and present POS fraud case files to our field investigators.Coordinate investigations/interviews with our clients along with our Director of Investigations.Daily research of POS data within the food service industry. Multi-store analysis
