At the state level, I successfully brought together Epilepsy Foundation affiliates across the country to adopt shared public policy priorities and unified messages, which led to a significant increase in the number of bills in which affiliates engaged in year over year. I collaborated with a diverse group of stakeholders – from patient groups and industry to legislators and regulatory agencies -- to ensure the voice of the epilepsy community was part of policy discussions around access to care.
