Beatriz Sanchez holds the position of Chair Americas at Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., and served on the Executive Board as Head of the Americas until the end of 2023. Prior to her tenure at Julius Baer, which began in 2017 in Zurich, Beatriz excelled in numerous C-level roles at notable firms including Goldman Sachs and HSBC.Boasting over thirty years of leadership experience in managing high and ultra-high net worth clients, Beatriz is widely recognized as one of the most influential executives in Latin American wealth management. Her contributions to the industry have earned accolades from numerous professional circles.A staunch advocate for human and women's rights, Beatriz is an active member of several advisory committees of non-profit organizations. Her commitments include the Julius Baer Foundation, the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba, the Cuba Study Group, and formerly the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security in Washington, D.C. Some of her current projects include pro bono work helping female micro-entrepreneurs in Cuba and constructing additional classroom facilities in the village of Mayoka in Tanzania.Additionally, Beatriz contributes with her passion and expertise as a member of the Art Committee of the Julius Baer Art Collection.
