Library Manager
Current• Supervise a staff of 20 by ensuring the branch’s goals and expectations are met and by maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment.• Recruit, hire and train new staff and provide personal growth opportunities for current staff and volunteers in order to improve our program attendance and branch growth.• Evaluate staff performance, develop performance review plans, and set branch goals that align with the Library’s strategic goals, mission and vision.• Administer branch funds and grants, and oversee all purchases and vendor payments.• Develop community partnerships and work with staff to meet yearly programming goals.• Participate in professional development and management courses to remain informed of new practices, resources and technologies available to library and education professionals.• Represent the Library in local, national, international conferences, events and presentations.
