Responsibilities:- Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including, but not limited to, internal monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, annual budgets and cash flow forecasts- Coordinate the activities of Accounts Payable, ensuring the accurate and timely processing to vendors, employee expenses reports and cash control- Coordinate the activities of Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate and timely management of all the AR aging components including billings, cash receipts, and credits- Coordinate corporate income tax compliance to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns- Review and reconcile the general ledger, financial statements, journal entries and perform account analysis- Manage the process by which Springfree divisions perform financial reporting accounting, billing, collections and budgeting duties- Analyze financial and accounting activity, and use information to forecast and prepare budgets and to create control performance metrics- Identify and implement ideas for business to improvement and cost reduction- Oversee company's liability and property insurance contracts- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and provincial/state policies and directives and current accounting standards- Monitor financial activities and details to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.Analyze and prepare financial information that will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the company's future
