To work to reduce the impact of natural disasters across Australian communities by supporting strategic-level decision-making to enhance overall resilience.Responsibilities:o Developing, researching and implementing national emergency risk management, resilience and mitigation practices via the Risk Assessment, Measurement and Mitigation Subcommittee (RAMMS) and Australia-New Zealand Emergency Management Committee to the Coalition of Australian Governments (COAG)o Provision of high level support to the RAMMS Chair (WA Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner) to manage complex national level projectso Assisting with the coordination, development and initiation of complex national risk and mitigation methodologies
